Our History

We are the Cooperative of Artisanal Cashew Nut Processors (COOPERCAJU). Our story began in 1991, on Potiguar soil, under the shade of a cashew tree in Serra do Mel. What started as a dream of unity among local producers is today a collective force involving family farming and various partners across the production chain. We are guardians of artisanal tradition, transforming the fruit of the 'Sertão' into opportunity, sustainability, and development for our region.
